What You’ll Need

Fabric (choose something soft with drape, like chiffon, lawn, or georgette)
Measuring tape
Fabric chalk or marker
Scissors
Pins
Sewing machine or needle and thread

Step 1: Cut the Basic Sleeve

Start by cutting your regular sleeve pattern — either full-length or three-quarter length.

Measure from your shoulder to the point where you want the bell to start (usually around the elbow). Mark this as your bell start line.

Step 2: Create the Bell Flare

Now it’s time to add the signature “bell” shape!

From your bell start line, cut the lower part of the sleeve horizontally.
